THE GOLDEN KEY MCGILL CHAPTER EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE 2010-2011
Co-Presidents: Larissa Smith and Mayce El Mostafa
VP Internal: Sam Moorcroft
My name is Sam Moorcroft and I am proud to be your new VP Internal! I am a U2 Psychology major, pursuing a minor in Behavioural Science and Communications. Outside of my studies, I love to read, to work with children, to dance, and to sail (I recently embarked on a two week sailing trip in the Virgin Islands!). As per my responsibilities, in a nutshell, I will serve as the liaison between the GK McGill chapter and the GK Headquarters. I am very excited to now be able to participate directly with and give back to Golden Key and hope to meet as many members as possible! You can reach me at samantha.moorcroft@mail.mcgill.ca with any question or concerns.
VP External: Alyssa Wiseman
Hello fellow GK members! My name is Alyssa Wiseman and I am your new VP External for the 2010-2011 year! As VP External, I will be in charge of organizing the Induction Ceremony at the beginning of the year and I am always looking for eager members to be part of my committee. A little about me: a Montrealer, I am currently in my third and final year of undergrad at McGill, where I major in Psychology and minor in Art History and Behavioural Sciences. Presently, I am also president of the McGill Dance Pack. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and perhaps even working with some of you this year! If you have any questions or would like to be part of my committee, don’t hesitate to contact me at alyssa.wiseman@mail.mcgill.ca.
VP Social Academic: Venessa Doyon-Kemp
Hey guys! I’m Venessa and I’ve been elected as your new VP Social Academic for this year. I can’t even express to you how excited I am to fill this position. I am currently in my last year of a Bachelor’s of Science, majoring in Physiology. When I’m not spending endless hours in the fish bowl at Redpath attempting to understand the dynamics of blood flow, I can often be found at the MUHC where I volunteer in the hemodialysis unit. Besides that, I’m also an SUS tutor and hold a position on the executive committee of the Korle-Bu Neuroscience Foundation. I can’t wait to begin planning events where you will have the occasion to become more familiar with your fellow Golden Key peers and also to meet with professors and faculty who will help to guide you during your time at McGill. Hope to see you all soon!
VP Community Service: Caitlin Dwyer
Hello! My name is Caitlin, and I’m looking forward to working with you this year as your VP Community Service. This is my first year on the Golden Key Executive Council. I’m pursuing a degree in Political Science and Russian and Slavic Studies, and I have spent my past two summers studying in Russia. When I’m not busy reading about Vladimir Putin’s latest escapades, I will be working hard to help you get involved in the community. As your VP Community Service, I am in charge of five well-established community service programs associated with McGill’s Golden Key Chapter. In addition, it is my goal to act as an informative resource for you should you wish to volunteer. Please get in touch with me via my email caitlin.dwyer@mail.mcgill.ca should you have any questions, suggestions, or if you want to get involved.
