THE MT. SINAI HOSPITAL PROJECT
The
Mt. Sinai Hospital Project provides pre-med students and students
interested in health care a chance to volunteer at the Mt. Sinai
Hospital. The Mt. Sinai Hospital is a state of the art institution,
which specializes in Respiratory Care, Palliative Care and Long Term
Care, with the Canadian Council on Health Services accreditation. The project provides volunteers with the opportunity to lend a helping hand in a number of hospital duties, such as: Occupational Therapy
Music Therapy
Palliative Care
Physiotherapy
Recreology
Friendly Visits
Patient Feeding
Time Commitment: 3 hours a week (or what the hospital deems appropriate)
