Since 2006 Golden Key members have played a role in the After School Program offered at Tyndale Community Centre (about 20 minutes from campus by foot). The program offers academic and recreational services to students aged 5 to 15, in a bilingual setting. Thus, several areas of participation exist for volunteers: 

• Homework Helpers: Volunteers help small groups of students with their homework.

• Individual tutoring: Volunteers work individually with a student in his/her weaker subjects.

• Recreational Animators: Volunteers help to organize and implement activities that are stimulating and developmentally appropriate.
